Lost Lake Park

Lost Lake Park, located in Whistler, British Columbia, is a year-round recreational destination situated on the traditional territory of the Líl̓wat7úl Nation. The park centers around a 14.2-hectare kettle lake formed by glacial remnants, surrounded by forested mountains. It offers over 25 kilometers of trails for various activities, including hiking, biking, and disc golf in the warmer months. During winter, the trails are used for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.

Visitors can access the lake via multiple public docks, which are popular for swimming in the summer. The park features facilities such as swim docks, barbecue stands, picnic tables, accessible washrooms, and outdoor showers. An off-leash dog beach is also available for pet owners. Dining options include Park Eats food trucks, which operate from mid-May to Labour Day, though schedules may vary due to Western Toad migration in late July and early August.

The park operates from dawn to dusk between April and mid-December. Secure bike parking is available via Whistler Bike Valet on summer weekends and holidays. Trail maps can be found at kiosks or Municipal Hall. The park is located at 4700 Lost Lake Road. It provides a peaceful setting for nature appreciation and outdoor activity, offering a contrast to the more commercial areas of Whistler. The area was historically known for its nude sunbathing beach, though this is less prominent today due to surrounding hotel development.
